This stunning glulam chalet presents a unique combination of timber design elements and structural steel connection details. Far from a conventional timber frame, the awe-inspiring size of the beams makes mid-span supports unnecessary, creating an airy, open space. Blending glued laminated timbers (glulams) with solid Douglas fir and industrial connections with traditional joinery makes a unique old-meets-new feel to the home.
