Taking inspiration from the flowing landscapes of the Coast Mountains and the Salish, this striking home on mid-Vancouver Island is the embodiment of West Coast elegance. An innovative modern timber frame featuring exposed curved glulam beams and dramatic glass-work draws the eye while the bold concrete fireplace anchors the open-concept main living area.

This home’s complex design by Blue Sky Architecture, includes a curved, sweeping roof and outside structure that demanded some innovative construction techniques. The result was well worth it and the general contractor, AFC Construction, did a superb job.
